I grew up in Los Angeles, but most people I meet seem to think of me as from the East Coast. Perhaps because I like cold and never learned to surf. As an English major, I was fascinated by the creation of different meanings through the interaction between the writer and the reader. In the law, I want to learn how to protect ideas while encouraging and enhancing the interactions that create different meanings (when I say "meanings" I mean linguistically, in terms of possible definitions and references, and not existentially).
