My desire to study law is rooted in the belief that understanding the law, the skills obtained in this pursuit and the certification of the process provide an individual with tremendous power. I also believe that many of those who now have that power are using it in selfish ways, without regard to the harm they cause both to individuals and to society. By going to law school, I hope to obtain the necessary skills to combat that misuse and advocate for the individuals both disenfranchised and forgotten. -- BetreGizaw - 18 Jan 2008
