My path to law school has been circuitous at best. Two years ago, if you had told me I'd be here right now, I would have laughed in your face. I always thought I would be a writer. I studied poetry in college, and as fate would have it, most of my professional experience has been in the restaurant industry as, variously, a chef, a server, and a seller of wine. I came to law school hoping to like it, hoping to find it intellectually stimulating, and hoping to forge a fulfilling and engrossing career without losing my soul or my non-law interests in the process.
