After college, I couldn’t decide on a career. I worked freelance in fashion as a patternmaker for a few years. Fashion was exciting at first simply because it was new to me and I had much to learn. However, I eventually became frustrated because work had become routine and boring. At that time I realized I needed a career which I would never find boring -- a career that is intellectually stimulating and meaningful. I wanted to truthfully say that I love my work. That is what I want from being a lawyer.
