I came to law school because I think it will give me more power to have a positive influence on international issues that I otherwise would have had a harder time to change. I think it is very important to look at law through many different lenses, but I look at it mainly through a sociological lens. It is very interesting to see how law and culture interact. While I cannot pinpoint exactly which issues I would like to deal with (as there are so many that are important) I hope to be able to use language (English, Spanish, and Russian) to persuade people that things can and should change.
