Personal Introduction

-- By FeliciaReyes - 19 Jan 2022

My name if Felicia Reyes and I graduated from USC in 2017 with a degree in American Studies and Ethnicity and a minor in Spanish. Throughout my time in college, I focused on youth advocacy, particularly for system-impacted youth (those with experience in our country's welfare, immigration, and justice systems). After college, I worked for a direct-service organization that coordinated career/college/housing programs for transition-age youth. Although very important work, I realized I wanted to do more system-level advocacy! I spent the last two years at National Center for Youth Law, where I lead the communications and community engagement strategy for their Reproductive Health Equity Project. I also oversaw the project's youth advisory board and worked as the liaison between our youth advocates and leadership team. In my free time, I really enjoy watching fantasy series (recently binge-watched Wheel of Time this past December) and reading historical fiction.
