I find it immensely difficult to describe myself without using the stand-in social currency of where I went to school, grew up, and claim to want to do with my life, which probably speaks volumes by implication. Here is my attempt to do otherwise: 1) I have mostly not deviated from the norm; 2) I have never thought I would be happier if I did, but I also haven’t thought about it much; 3) I am very uncomfortable with the kind of self-reflection this class compels because I am scared of what I might learn.
