I’ve had four jobs in my life. I worked as a sportswriter, at two different real estate companies and most recently as a paralegal at a plaintiff’s class action firm. There are aspects of each job that I’ve loved and aspects that I’ve hated. My goal is to find a job with the best ratio of love to hate aspects.

There are aspects of each job that I’ve loved and aspects that I’ve hated. My goal is to find a job with the best ratio of love to hate aspects.

I want to view work not as a necessary evil, but something I enjoy doing every day, or at least most days. If I enjoy what I’m doing then success will follow, or at least that’s what I’ve been told.

I’m not sure exactly how law school will help me accomplish this goal and I’m not sure that my career will be in the field of law. What I hope at a minimum is that law school will open doors and introduce me to opportunities I might not have otherwise considered.
