I came to law school because, like most people, I struggle in the post-industrial U.S. economy. I want to do something about it, for myself, my family, and others who struggle. I want to know how to use law to make this country a better place for us, for as long as this country's law exists.

<		Before coming here, I worked in technical services at a software company and did a few years of a doctoral program in political science. That was fun, but it soon became obvious that people with theoretical sophistication in the social sciences won't necessarily help people like us. Who will help us are people with deep, practical knowledge of what moves society and a will to do justice. I want to be that kind of person.
