One hundred words that explain my life decision: First, I am an immigrant who has never stopped believing in the “American Dream.” For some (perhaps naïve) reason, I associate that dream with a career in the law. Second, I will be the first lawyer in my family. While there are plenty of Iranian-American doctors and engineers, there just aren’t enough lawyers. I plan to change that.

Third, I love the Constitution. I could study constitutional law for the rest of my life and die a happy woman. And last, a law degree will open doors for me that my B.A. couldn’t.
