Law in Contemporary Society
-- JosephMacias - 16 Jan 2008

I came to law school to gain a meaningful career. I wanted to work on things that really matter, and did not want to get stuck working in an office doing the same thing everyday. I have always been interested in the immigrant narrative and would like to be part of a solution that includes passing comprehensive immigration reform in the future. While I don't know if immigration will be considered a problem in the future, I would like my legal career, in some capacity, to benefit those brave enough to leave their home country to try for a better life.
