Law in Contemporary Society
My name is Julian Azran and I came to law school because I am a risk-averse control freak. I specifically chose Columbia because I thought it had a good program for studying IP and media law, and because I love the city very much. I also chose it because I knew that I would be virtually guaranteed a six-figure job upon graduating. Over the next five semesters, I hope to learn the necessary skills to advocate for artists’ rights and hopefully make landmark changes in our copyright laws.
