Law in Contemporary Society
I was a political prisoner while in my home country, Nigeria. If that sob story doesn’t make one want to be a lawyer and gather the skills necessary to attack a corrupt regime, nothing will. I then had the privilege of attending to Georgetown University, which has a knack of spitting out politicians. Here I sit in your class surprised yet confident that I may oneday find myself in office. I may have to take a detour and try my luck in the canned meat department. Unfortunately schooling in this country still costs an arm and a leg.
