Law in Contemporary Society
Some questions that might be worth pursuing that emerged from the IsBeingACorporateLawyerImmoral thread:

  • Does society need corporate lawyers?
  • Are the economic and legal systems that have created, and now nurture, corporations just? How do we describe the corporation, and what creeds have we adopted in order to make capitalism and corporations seem so inevitable?
  • Eben has suggested that we are witnessing the death throes of biglaw. What does the future of corporate law look like? Is change possible from within the system, as has been suggested elsewhere in this wiki?
