Law in Contemporary Society

Personal Introduction

-- By ElizabethHuh - 17 Jan 2022

My name is Elizabeth Huh and I am from Seoul, Korea, although I was born in Boulder, Colorado, and went to an international school since kindergarten. I graduated from Brown University in 2019 with a concentration in Visual Arts and Sociology. I am still passionate about the arts and hope to pursue a career in which I could combine my interests in all three disciplines: law, sociology, and visual arts.

After graduation, I worked as a researcher at a human rights law foundation and as a corporate paralegal at a law firm. I worked in both fields seeking to consolidate what I want to do after law school, but, quite frankly, the experiences have led to more questions than answers. I came to law school because, ultimately, I want to use my legal training to render legal aid to underprivileged communities.

In my free time, I like to go cafe hopping, visit museums, and read (and then assess Goodreads reviews).
