Law in Contemporary Society
-- JenniferClark - 17 Jan 2008

I decided to go to law school primarily because a law degree is one of the most flexible degrees one can attain. This aspect of a JD is very important to me because I have no idea what I want to do for a living. None at all. As far as I'm concerned the possibilities are endless. I may even be one of those law students who decides not to become a lawyer. I am open to that outcome. Bottom line though: I want to be happy. Period. At this point in my development I have defined happiness for myself as "self-actualization". Hopefully, this class will aid me in discovering how I can use law school in that endeavor.
