Law in Contemporary Society
-- JulianBaez - 16 Jan 2008

I want to be a lawyer because it has always seemed the most interesting way to speak for a living. It allows one to use their voice and their ability to advocate in front of people.

Furthermore, I’ve always wanted to serve the public and there are many opportunities for lawyers to do so. The flexible nature of a law degree will allow me to do this or anything else in many ways.

Finally, I’ll never go hungry as a lawyer.

And there’s the whole “wanting to be President” thing too.
